A cue-by-cue sound tool for the stage. Build your show, trigger it live, and never worry about an accidental tap mid-performance.
ThespiSound splits the work in two: build your show when you have time to think, then lock it down before you're live.
Add cues, set pre-wait times, trim waveforms, chain cues together. Everything is editable — this is where the show gets built, ahead of time.
One tap locks every setting. You can still select and trigger cues freely, but nothing changes by accident — no matter how dark the booth or how fast the cue-to-cue.
Every sound cue in your show is one of these three. Combine them to build anything from a single sound effect to a fully automated sequence.
Plays an imported sound file. Set a pre-wait, loop count, and independent fade-in / fade-out points directly on the waveform.
Ramps the volume of another cue up or down over time, using a linear, logarithmic, or exponential curve — with an optional stop once the fade completes.
Immediately stops a target cue. Useful for cutting a loop or an ambience the moment a scene ends.
Details that matter when you're running a real performance, not just testing at a desk.
Chain cues so one show event triggers a sequence — no need to hit GO for every single sound.
Drag entry, exit, and fade points directly on the sound's waveform, with the result previewed instantly.
Playback continues even if the screen turns off or you switch to another app — the show doesn't stop because your phone did something else.
Keep separate shows for separate productions, all saved locally on your device. Switch between them in a couple of taps.
Save a show as a .thespis file to archive it or hand it to another operator.
Your shows and audio files live on your device. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Tap the note icon to bring in audio files. Each one becomes an Audio cue, ready to arrange.
Reorder cues (press and hold the handle, then drag), set pre-wait times, add Fade and Stop cues, and trim waveforms until the show reads exactly right.
One tap on the switch, top right. Everything locks — you're ready to run it live.
Select a cue, hit GO. Follow and Continue handle the rest where you've set them up.
